I am in India for a work engagement and will​ be in Kochi for a quick 3-day solo trip this September and am looking to get a few specific things done while in town. Would love your local knowledge and recommendations for the following:

​Professional/Formal Wear Shopping: Where’s the best place to pick up high-quality corporate or formal wear (menswear/womenswear)? Looking for good fitting, solid fabric quality, or even custom tailoring options. Are the standalone stores around MG Road?

​Children’s Bookstores: Looking for cambridge curriculum books for kids class 7 and 8?

​Evening Drinks & Live Music: Looking for a laid-back spot to unwind in the evening with a good drink and some nice live music/vibes. Any local pubs, hotel lounges, or restobars you’d recommend?

I am a mallu but born and brought up in Delhi (blame my parents) so my malayalam is broken but I can get by easily. Love conversations so any suggestions on relevant places would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
